A new voice on “blogosphere”: “I was only 12 yrs old when the Revolutions of 1989 took place and the collapse of communism began in Eastern Europe. The fall of the Berlin wall, the breakup of many Baltic States and the inevitable disintegration of Yugoslavia. The world was changing and there was new hope for Croats … ”

Most welcome Didi and cheers.

The thoughts of you didigrbesic as a 12 yo were that of many older on that night. I rem being working in London that time and it was hard to believe the wall coming down. Not long before the Chinese had masqueraded protesters in Tiananmen SQ.. Soon after on Christmas day the Nicolae & ElanaCeaușescu were executed.
Those times, the Berlin Wall coming down etc there was a general feeling of a new World peace. Most believed or didn’t know of the breaking up of Yugoslavia, would deteriorate into an outbreak war.To be honest I never knew of a country called Serbia or Bosnia then or Id ever be in Bosnia.
Its good to have those good optimistic memories ,
Thank You didigrbesic
Muy Bueno!
Thank you Ruben
