Christmas Wishes

m chr

It is the time of year when I celebrate Christmas and I also celebrate the fact that there are many people in the world who do not celebrate Christmas because of their religion or personal choices in life. I am deeply grateful for everyone who has visited this blog and provided support that I cherish especially because it connects us all in some way, however small or large that way may be to individuals.

Regardless of our beliefs I hold that we are all united in love, care, compassion and spreading the affection of our heart into the lives of others and bringing in pleasure and cheers. For me, Christmas is a perfect time that amplifies the expression of these emotions and devotions.
Merry Christmas and if you do not celebrate it I wish that you also fill up your life with love, compassion, tolerance, peace and happiness.
As I retire from this blog for a few days I wish you all joy, happiness and peace.

And to turn to the special place in my heart – VUKOVAR –  I wish that 2014 will bring the deserved consideration for victims of war and that Vukovar will become the Special Place of Piety to which we bow to the suffering that was and still is.  Ina Vukic, Prof. (Zgb); B.A., M.A.Ps. (Syd)

Now to get your blood boiling on Boxing Day, check this idiot out…http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2013/12/25/creeping-towards-fascism-croatia-tests-european-ideals

I have responded but OMG– what a sicko!

    cheers,
    Branko

    • Merry Christmas to you to Branko. Yes sickos everywhere and to boot the SBS piece comes as from Australia where gay marriage is banned and the writer has the gall to criticise Croatia and call it nationalistic because of referendum on marriage. The hypocrisy is astounding!

  20. Michael Silovic says:

Ina, I wish for you and your family a happy holiday. While I personally enjoy Christmas and it’s religious meaning I am still saddened with a heavy heart for those who still suffer the loss of a loved one and for the continued angst that many have towards the cowards who are our enemy both in and out of our goverment. Someday I hope that we all can find some inner peace for all of those in our homeland and rejoice on this special occasion. I know that with the strength and courage shown on your blog and from people around the world for our country we will achieve this goal for the heavenly father have blessed us as one united in faith and belief of our beloved Croatia and that the truth will prevail.
