Happy This Christmas – Mick Hucknall

His trademarks are red hair and peculiarly soothing voice that had sent him into a starry orbit back in 1985, when he became the front man of Simply Red.

Mick Hucknall hasn’t given up music, just in case you’ve been wondering about him during the past decade.

Mid-December 2011 Mick has commenced promoting his new song: “Happy This Christmas”

The joyful thing in particular for Croatians is that Mick’s personal producer Andy Wright recommended and chose to produce this song in collaboration with the production team “Playone”.  Playone is made up of Croatia’s own music team producers Darko Juranovic D’Knock and DJ Fresh Jay. They were also joined by the producer Zvonimir Dusper.

Mick Hucknall spoke exclusively to Vecernji List newspaper in Zagreb.

“The boys made an excellent remix and an admirable production. I personally don’t potter around with that part of production, I believe in my team and listen when all is done,” Mick said.

“…I want to introduce a new music to people, I’m tired of singing ‘Money’s Too Tight To Mention’, he added. http://www.vecernji.hr/scena/pjevac-simply-reda-snimio-pjesmu-hrvatskim-producentima-clanak-359284/article in Croatian.

Everyone – Be Happy This Christmas Day!
