  9. Fantastic Ina! And unheard of in many places in the world….a very public and very live Nativity! God Bless.

    • Merry Christmas Veronika and a wonderful New Year to you and yours. This live Nativity was the best yet in Croatia and I simply love the dance of joy at the end.

  10. Lovely…They sometimes have these here in the US. The one there drew a large crowd. I was hoping to find one to photograph, but was not successful. Perhaps next year. Merry Christmas.

    • Thank you Chris, yes I’ve come across them in media in the past in US and elsewhere but sadly they’re not as publicised as they are across Europe which is a shame because I think that in the modern world of today where churchgoing is struggling with numbers the “live” word and enactment of spreading the joy of the birth of Christ needs as much help as it can get. I absolutely love the dance of joy at the end of the nativity play in Croatia – such a strong message 🙂 Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

  11. This is grand…it’s what Christmas is all about – the birth of Christ; not Santa Claus or some odd notion of ‘Happy Holidays’. Only wish we could do something like this in Canada without being harassed, fined or shut down. Hopefully Croatia will NOT lose it’s Christian values and faith.

    • Such misery brought upon many through political correctness towards “minorities” and with that no one seems to care that it was our Christian fathers and grandfathers who made sure we have what we have. I know what you mean Sunman, many countries go through the same but hopefully there’ll be enough around to keep Christ alive among us with pride and loud! Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

  12. Nice!

  13. Best wishes to all the Croatian people. May the Divine bring relief from all of the problems of trying to find justice for this dear country. Happiness to you and yours in 2016. Hugs and prayers, Barbara
