He is born!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life“. (John 3:16)

With profound gratitude for the amazing support I have received via this blog I wish you all a blessed, joyous and very merry Christmas! May the New Year of 2020 bring you success and content in all that you do! Ina Vukic

Come, good people, to the stable
Hasten to the manger-side
Come, behold the Infant holy
Come and see the blessed Child
Come and follow, one and all
Come see him lying in the stall
For he is born, the Child divine

Faithful shepherds watching ever
O’er their flocks by dark of night
Wondering, fearing, tidings hearing
‘Mid a glorious, shining light
Music ringing, Angels singing
News of joy and comfort bringing
He is born, the Child divine

That reminds me, I should have gone to Mass this morning but had to drive my wife to work. I shall try to make Vespers at 4.30. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Ina 🙂

Merry Christmas “Whelk”! I attended Midnight Mass at Sydney’s St Mary’s Cathedral – life just will not do without experiencing the joy of “He is born” as bell ring at midnight!

That must have been very beautiful, Ina. I try to attend the 10.30 Latin Mass at Westminster Cathedral (my local) every Sunday but I don’t do confession. Father O’Brien told me it would take too long 😉
A very merry and a blessed Christmas to you and yours.

I’m Ina

I was born in Croatia and live Australia. I have been described as a prominent figure known for my contribution to the Croatian and wider societies, particularly in the context of Croatia’s transition from communism to democracy, as well as for my many years of work as a clinical psychologist and Chief Executive Officer of government-funded services for people with disabilities, including mental health services, in Australia. In 1995, the President of the Republic of Croatia awarded me two Medals of Honor, the Homeland War Memorial Medal and the Order of the Croatian Trefoil for her special merits and her contribution to the founding of the Republic of Croatia.  I have been a successful blogger since 2011 and write extensively in the English-language on issues related to Croatian current affairs and democracy, as well as the challenges Croatia faced and still faces in its transition from communism. My goal is to raise awareness of these connections and issues worldwide.
